Good Shepherd Preschool's Announcements Preschool Registration for 2007-2008 School Year Priority 1: Congregation members Registration will begin on February 5th and end on February 14th . Registration forms may be placed in the yellow “PRESCHOOL” file folder in the church mail crate located in the foyer of the church. We will send a letter verifying your spot in the program. Priority 2: Current students who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2007 Registration will begin at 9 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, February 15th by submitting registration to the Preschool Director personally. This will allow current families of children who want to repeat preschool, rather than go on to Kindergarten, to register. Priority 3: Current students who will be 4 years old by August 31st, 2007 Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. on THURSDAY, February 16th in the entry hall of the church UPSTAIRS THROUGH THE MAIN RED DOORS. ( This registration will concern most of our students in the Tuesday/ Thursday morning class.) No registrations will be accepted before that time. Registration will be conducted on a first- come, first- serve basis. There should be no problem in getting in the class you want, as there are less than 5 children in the above two categories registering. Priority 4: Current students in BOTH Almost Threes classes who will be 3 years old by August 31st, 2007 Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. on FRIDAY, February 17th in the entry hall of the church UPSTAIRS THROUGH THE MAIN RED DOORS. Doors will open at 9 a.m. upstairs. No registrations will be accepted before that time. Registration will be conducted on a first- come, first- serve basis. If you are unable to get the class you want, you will be put on a waiting list for your first choice. Priority 5: Current families with SIBLINGS who will be eligible for our fall program Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH in the entry hall of the church UPSTAIRS THROUGH THE MAIN RED DOORS. Doors will open at 9 a.m. No registrations will be accepted before that time. Registration will be conducted on a first- come, first- serve basis. If you are unable to get the class you want, you will be put on a waiting list for your first choice. Priority 6: Siblings of families formerly enrolled in our program- any age. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND in the entry hall of the church UPSTAIRS THROUGH THE MAIN RED DOORS. Doors will open at 9 a.m. No registrations will be accepted before that time. Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first- serve basis. REGISTRATION FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC : Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23RD in the sanctuary of the church UPSTAIRS THROUGH THE MAIN RED DOORS AND TO THE LEFT. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., and a number will be handed to each person as they enter. Registration must be made in person, as mailed registrations in the past have had a history of not showing up on time! Signs will be posted if any classes have been filled, so that you may look at different choices on your registration form. Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are unable to get the class you want, you will be put on a waiting list for your first choice. If you are not able to register this day, you may submit your registration any time from February 23rd on to secure a spot. Punch Card Childcare Option We will be offering after-school care again for the 2007-2008 school year with our punch card system. The punch card can be purchased for $30.00 and has 20 spaces. One will be punched for each 15-minute interval you use. ($1.50 for each session). You do not have to use the punch card every day, which is a nice option for parents, but the punch cards must be purchased ahead of time from the director.
