WE OFFER A VARIETY OF CLASSES FOR 2 yrs. 7 months- 5 YEAR OLDS AT GOOD SHEPHERD CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL!  Here at Good Shepherd Lutheran Christian Preschool we:

• Recognize each child as one of God's people.
• Encourage a positive self-image based on God's love for us.
• Provide a warm, caring environment in which children feel secure and can develop a sense of trust and confidence.
• Guide each individual child's spiritual, physical, cognitive and social-emotional development.
• Give children opportunities to learn about Jesus' love for them and all people.

Our purpose at Good Shepherd Lutheran Christian Preschool is to follow the command of our Lord to go and make disciples of all people by offering a weekday preschool program which shall minister to the spiritual, physical, social and emotional, as well as the intellectual needs of young children and their families in the community.  We offer a variety of fun-filled activities in art, music, literature, science, math and physical fitness.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom.  

                                   THE FOLLOWING ARE THE CLASS OFFERINGS AND COSTS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR. 
                                       A $55 NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE MUST ACCOMPANY ALL REGISTRATIONS:

                                                               FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE 2 YEARS, 7 MONTHS to 3 YEARS OLD:

ALMOST THREE'S CLASS, TUESDAY/THURSDAY (9:15- 11:15 a.m. twice a week):

•  Children join any time during the school year after turning age 2 yrs. 7 months.
•  Children do not advance to the older classes once they turn 3 yrs. old during the school year*.     
•  8 students in the class with a 4-1 student/ teacher ratio.  
•  Children do not have to be potty trained to join the class.  *Children who want to join the 3-5 yr. old classes but are not potty trained at 3 years old (birthday before August 31st) may start in this class.  In this situation, students can stay in the class or advance to the older classroom once potty-trained, if room is available.
•  Up to 45 minutes of childcare is available until noon after class via a punch card system

1-DAY CLASS: for children who are 3-5 years old by August 31st. 

• Your choice of any day of the week, subject to availability.
• 9:15 - noon
• Children must be potty trained to join the class.    
• 16 students in the class with an 8-1 student/teacher ratio. 
• $122.00 per month   

2-DAY CLASS:  for children who are 3-5 years old by August 31st.    

• Your choice any two day combination, subject to availability. 
• 9:15 - noon
• Children must be potty trained to join the class.    
• 16 students in the class with an 8-1 student/teacher ratio.         
• $207.00 per month   

   
3-DAY CLASS: for children who are 3-5 years old by August 31st

• Your choice any three day combination, subject to availability.
• 9:15 - noon
• Children must be potty trained to join the class. 
• 16 students in the class with an 8-1 student/teacher ratio. 
• $275.00 per month

4 DAY CLASS:  for children who are 3-5 years old by August 31st.  

• Your choice any four day combination, subject to availability.
• 9:15 - noon
•  Children must be potty trained to join the class.  
• 16 students in the class with an 8-1 student/teacher ratio. 
• $335.00 per month 

5-DAY CLASS: for children who are 3-5 years old by August 31st. 

• 9:15 - noon
• Children must be potty trained to join the class. 
• 16 students in the class with an 8-1 student/teacher ratio.    
• $387.00 per month

 
          School will NOT operate on snow cancellation days by State College Area School District or on 2 or 3-hour delay days called by 
                                                                                State College Area School District.

LUNCH BUNCH: For enrolled children who are 3-5 years old. 

• Offered on Tuesday and/or Wednesday afternoons from 12:00-2:00pm beginning mid September.
• Children must be potty trained to stay for Lunch Bunch.
• Must sign-up ahead of time using our online scheduler.
• Must have at least 5 students signed up in order to hold the session.
• $17 per session
